Good day Hustlers,
We have two upcoming Turf Times on Jan 20th and Jan 22. Please ensure to register. Details are as follows:
Jan 20th
7-8pm North Turf. All Pitchers and Catchers. If we do not have enough catchers, a parent will have to catch for their pitcher so please bring a glove if your player plans on pitching. If needed, catcher equipment will be provided.
7-9pm South Turf. U11 In-fielding/ Out-fielding and hitting. For those U11 Players wanting to Pitch/Catch they can participate with the Group on the North Turf for 30-45 minutes and then join on the South Turf.
8-10pm North Turf U13 and U15. The Groups will begin on the North and make use of the South once the U11 wrap up at 9pm. We will also be using the pitching machine lane for hitting as well.
Jan 22th is the Tryout Walk Through
6-7pm South Turf. All Pitchers and U13 & U15 Catchers. Parents/Sibling are required to catch for their Pitcher. The catchers will be participating in their own session on this day.
6:45-8:45 North Turf. U11. Players will warm up for the first 15 minutes, start the walkthrough at 7pm.
7:30-10:00 South Turf. U13 & U15
We will send out an e-mail to all the players registered the day before if we change the start times. A change may take place due to the number of players that register, so please register in advance to help us plan better.
Jan 30th General Tryouts
Remember that Try-outs are on Jan 30, starting at 6pm for the U11. Once those wrap up, U11 Pitching will take place. U13 will begin at around 7:30 and U15 8:30. We will send out an email a couple days before the Tryouts on the exact start times for the U13&U15, as it will be driven by the number of players – so please do register for Tryouts.
Jan 31 U13&U15 Pitcher and Catcher Tryouts
The U13 & U15 Pitchers and Catchers will have their tryouts on Jan 31 at 6-7:30pm. A parent will have to catch their player’s warm up. Catcher gear will be provided if required.
Tryout Information
The 222”s Fastpitch will be running the evaluations as they have done the past several years. Coaches and members of the Executive will be there to assist, but all timing and scoring is done by the 2’s.
Spectators can watch, but are not allowed on the field or tunnel area. Players must not be wearing any Travel Ball logos (222's or JQ t-shirts/batting gloves/helmet/etc).
There will be a turf time for U15 players on Jan 31 following the Pitcher/Catcher tryout from 7:30-9pm.
Email reminders will be going out to registered participants the day before each event.
